This yummy brunch recipe is great in the morning or as a dessert :)

French Apple Bread Pudding

3 eggs
1-14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
3 apples, pared, cored and finely chopped
1-3/4 cups hot water
¼ cup butter, melted
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 cups French bread cubes
½ cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350ยบ F. In a large bowl, add sweetened condensed milk, apples, water, butter, cinnamon and vanilla.

Stir in bread and raisins, moistening completely. Turn into buttered 9-inch square baking pan.

Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool. Serve warm with ice cream if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
