Recipe of the Week: Pretzel Cereal Crunch

So I found this fabulous recipe in one of my recipe magazines, and made it this past Christmas... many, many times. It's quick and easy to make and makes a generous amount. I think it took my husband and I less than 24 hours to eat it all each time. So keep that in mind when making it - it's quite addictive ;)

Pretzel Cereal Crunch
1-1/4 cups Golden Grahams
1-1/4 cups Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
1-1/4 cups miniature pretzels
1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1 pkg. (10 to 12 ounces) vanilla or white chips
2 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter

In a large bowl, combine the cereals, pretzels and pecans. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chips; stir until smooth. Stir in the peanut butter. Drizzle over cereal mixture, toss to coat. Spread evenly on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Cool completely; break into pieces. Store in an airtight container.
Makes: about 9 cups

The good (or not so good) thing about this recipe is that when you buy the boxes of cereal and pretzels to make it, there is more than enough for several rounds of making this great stuff. Just buy a couple bags of the white chips and you're good to go! Yummy!
