it's beginning to look a lot like spring

I cannot even believe the warm weather around here. Several, several days of warm weather and it's looking like it might stay that way (I hope :)). All of the flowers are blooming and it's just fabulous. We took a little walk and took pictures of all of the signs of spring right around our home :)

I bought my first herb plant of the season - rosemary. Not trying to grow this from seed this year - planting basil and parsley from seed, rosemary and oregano will be started with seedlings like this one :)

A fresh garden bed ready for seeds. Planting a few things this weekend.

I had a large bowl full of herbs last season and never cleaned it out (ahem). Little did I know (my novice gardener self) that chives and parsley come back for two (?) seasons after they are first planted. 

Hoping spring is here to stay. Loving the warm weather. Loving grilling outside. Loving having the windows and back door open all afternoon. Loving all of the new growth with plants, flowers and such :)
