a(nother) wedding book: Cristina and Nicky

Tis the season for weddings! I recently finished and shipped another wedding book to a sweet couple - Cristina and Nicky. They are having a beachy wedding and their colors are a gorgeous purple, ivory, sand, and teal. This book was so, so fun to create and I loved adding in a burlap-type fabric paper to the cover. Thanks, Cristina and Nicky for letting me create your book for your special day :)

christina and phil: a wedding book

I recently created and shipped another wedding book! This was truly one of my fave books that I've made - I loved the colors, the burlap, the key. The bride-to-be's bridesmaids are wearing royal blue dresses with hot pink shoes - so fun! It will be a rustic yet elegant wedding - thus the burlap :) Thank you, Christina and Phil for letting me create your book for your special day! :)

Wedding Book: Florence and Maxime

I recently finished this wedding book and shipped it off to Belgium :) (Tis the season for weddings! Yesterday I shared about another wedding keepsake journal that I also recently completed :)) The bride's colors are pink, dark pink, light grey and dark grey. They are using pink Gerbera daisies as their flowers and wanted to incorporate that into the book. Simple and elegant - I love how this book turned out also :)
Thank you Florence and Maxime for letting me create your wedding journal :) Congratulations on your upcoming marriage :)

wedding planning journal: crystal and paul

I recently had the privilege to put together this "wedding planning and memento" journal for a sweet lady in Ireland - Anita. She wanted the journal so she could document the wedding planning with her son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law.
She wanted the journal fun, pink and pretty :) I've never put together a pink and girly journal - so it was fun to coordinate a bunch of different papers, envelopes, and embellished pages. I made a "confetti page" instead of a confetti window - I sewed the clear window material directly to a glitter cardstock page. LOVE it (will definitely be exploring this concept more with other projects ;)).
I used my Silhouette to cut out a few pages of "key places" in the couple's story - where they are each from and where they met.
I also used a doily, baker's twine, ribbon, tulle, diecuts and other things to embellish the pages.
I love how it turned out. I love how I made a new friend halfway across the world via our back and forth convos about the book :) Thanks so much, Anita! SO great to work with you on this book and am thankful to have "met" you :)

a wedding book

I recently had the opportunity to create another wedding book for a sweet bride and groom :) They are using this book as a scrapbook from their special day - their wedding was full of lots of yellow, colors, and skeleton keys! Looking through their wedding pictures, I loved how they incorporated the skeleton keys into their welcome bags for guests (gorgeous yummy-looking cookies in the shape of keys!), wedding favors, and other details from the day. I knew I needed to incorporate a key into the book and was glad to have found this antique key to use on the front :)
I also found some paper that had skeleton keys all over it :) So I used that with a bunch of other colorful papers for the inside pages. I left all of the pages blank, but included lined and blank white pages for them to put where needed in the book as they are filling it up.  I'm super happy with how it turned out and am excited they will be documenting their wedding with lots of pictures and lots of journaling :)
Thank you Jen and Rick for letting me create a wedding book
to help document your special day :)

a wedding book: bright and happy

I recently had the privilege to create another wedding book for a lovely couple in France. Their colors are bright and beautiful and it was fun working all of the colors into the book :) I was torn on the cover idea, so I created two ;) This way, the couple can choose which they prefer - washi tape or a cute little paper pinwheel :)
Thank you Maud and Damien for letting me create your wedding book for your special day! :)

a wedding book

I recently had the privilege to put together this custom wedding book for a person whose bestest friend is getting married at the end of this month. How sweet and thoughtful that she wanted to have a guest book made for her friend! I thoroughly enjoyed working on it and am super happy with how it turned out :)

Wedding Book: Fresh and Colorful 50s Theme

I just finished this super fun and colorful wedding book for guests to sign and write notes in for a bride and groom in France :) Their theme is  a 50s Wedding Day -- lots of bright colors, pinwheels and vintage decor. Going by her gorgeous collection of pinned ideas on pinterest, I created this book for them. I am so excited with how it turned out. And I love, love, love the pinwheel on the front :)
Congratulations Noémie and Jonathan! Thank you for letting me create a wedding book for your special day :)

another custom wedding book

Just finished up another custom wedding book for a bride in France :) Their theme is a vintage-type "Once Upon a Time...", so I went with vintage-themed papers, including browns, tans, and parchment, as well as some vintage book and dictionary pages. Also sprinkled in are some envelopes for guests to tuck little things like notes, pictures or mementos into :)
I really enjoyed working on this project :) Thank you Marie and Gregori for letting me help with your special day! Congratulations! :)

working on: custom wedding guestbook

I had the honor and privilege to create my first custom guestbook for a bride's upcoming wedding :) Even more fun is that she is all the way from France - so this little book will be making the trek across the Atlantic soon.

The bride-to-be and her fiancée really liked this journal I had created, so I wanted to create something along those lines. She sent me a sample of fabric with their wedding colors - I went from that and used all sorts of grays, pinks and white linen cardstock papers. I also included some sheets of vellum and silver crinkle paper. Each page has a blank white sheet adhered - space for guests to write a note or doodle for the bride and groom.
I incorporated the punches (from punching each page) into a confetti window, then added some of the fabric on top. For the cover sheet I used gray linen cardstock and printed their names, a heart and the date (isn't her name beautiful?!). I then adhered gray polka dot washi tape, a strip cut from the fabric, and three vintage buttons. There is a piece of heavy chipboard in the front (behind the confetti window and gray cardstock) and the back for added durability.
I am loving how it turned out. I am so glad I could help with their special day and hope this sweet little book will be something they can look through and cherish long after the wedding :) Thank you Nathanaëlle and Charles for letting me put together your wedding book :)
